Hey there! I have to admit, balancing the chaos of building startups with writing a book and tracking down river crayfish leaves me craving a genuinely good conversation tonight—so tell me, what brought you out here?

Hey! Honestly, between my day job as a Platform Engineer at Microsoft 365 and working on my new solo album, a good conversation sounds like absolute heaven right now. Did you just say you track down river crayfish?!

I sure did! There is nothing quite like diving in and snorkeling to catch your own dinner, though I promise I spend just as much time obsessing over recipes in the kitchen as I do in the water. A Platform Engineer at Microsoft *and* working on a solo album? That is a wildly cool combination of tech and creativity—tell me all about the music!

Snorkeling for your own dinner sounds adventurous, though I think I'll stick to enjoying the sea and sun on dry land! As for the music, I write, sing, and play violin, and right now I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with my new solo album. It's a busy life balancing that with my tech work, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Violin, singing, and platform engineering at Microsoft? That is an incredible mix of art and logic, and honestly, hearing about your album has been the absolute highlight of my evening. I've had a truly fantastic time chatting with you, but I should probably head home before I start dreaming about crayfish and synthesizers—we definitely need to continue this conversation over a good dinner soon!

I've had such a wonderful time chatting with you too, Boris! It's rare to meet someone who appreciates both the tech and creative sides of life so well. I'd love to continue this over dinner soon—have a great trip home!
